Darius Lewis co-founded the JoyFul Journey program with CorShonda “CoCo” Springer to ensure that seniors—especially those who may feel overlooked or isolated—have ongoing opportunities to explore, socialize, and enjoy life to the fullest.

Through this work with Lewis & Son Handyman Services ( a trusted handyman service that primarily supports elderly clients) he has developed deep, meaningful relationships with seniors across the community—listening to their stories, understanding their needs, and providing dependable help with care and respect.

Whether he’s planning culturally rich outings, designing uplifting wellness experiences, or building partnerships that expand access, Darius remains committed to honoring the wisdom and worth of every elder he serves.

His day-to-day interactions with elders inspired and strengthened his commitment to creating broader experiences that improve their emotional, social, and physical well-being.
